Cousins and Autumn
Sugar pumpkins!
Coral coloured cabbages
Eucalypts! The smell of my Australian childhood...
Rosehips
Fall flowers
Beauty...
And more beauty...
My cousins are in town and we went to the Union Square Markets. We had Irish soda bread and hot apple ciders and I bought a tiny painting of the ocean.
My cousins admiring the fruit pies...
Afterwards we went to Central Park and overdosed on New York's Autumn beauty. I really loved Summer in New York, but I think I love the Fall even more...
Elaine Su-Hui Chew makes prints, drawings and installations which explore the connection between the physical world and the transcendental. Delving into themes of metaphysics, idealism, superstition and luck, her work reflects the human search for happiness found across all cultures and throughout history.
